THE FOUNDATION OF GREENWICH FOOTBALL

For 65 years, the GYFL has been building the foundation for our youth football players. We teach players fundamental skills, safety, and love of the game to help them succeed in high school football and beyond.

Ages

Open to 3rd-8th graders who live or attend school in Greenwich.

Cost

Early Bird Pricing $600

(Must register before June 15th!)

No code needed. Discount will be automatically applied.

Regular Season Registration Fee $725

(June 16- July 6th)

Late Registration after July 6th: Registrations on or after this date are subject to a 50% increase in fees.

Scholarship Information

Greenwich Youth Football League (GYFL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing youth in Greenwich, Connecticut, with opportunities to learn and play the sport of football. We believe financial challenges should never prevent a child from participating in our football program. To ensure accessibility, GYFL offers financial assistance when possible to families in need.

If you would like to be considered for financial aid, please click that option at check out when registering. You will not be charged at the time of registration.

To request assistance, please send a brief email outlining your circumstances to GreenwichYouthFootballLeague@gmail.com All requests will be handled with strict confidentiality and reviewed promptly by our scholarship committee.

These three forms of verification are acceptable:

Proof of income from prior tax year (2024) First two pages of the signed 1040 tax forms.
Government-issued letter or receipt of public assistance
Proof of free or reduced lunch status

Your request will be reviewed and the GYFL will reach out to you shortly with a decision, provided the request is received during the program’s registration period.

Scholarship requests MUST be submitted by July 6th.
